2016 Birrificio Baladin Xyauyù Kioke

Barleywine aged in open cypress wooden barrels originally used for the production of soy sauce. Clear, deep ruby in color with no head present. The barrels give resinous cypress notes and a slightly acidic touch, for a unique aromatic profile. The finish is vaguely herbaceous, bitter and acidic.
